You may not recognize the company name, but I am confident that it, as well as my name Larry Bergquist, will become familiar. I have 30 years experience designing, building and maintaining petroleum facilities, 24 with ESSO and 6 with McIntosh Supply (RNG).

Our Mission

 To provide assistance to our clients in the area of petroleum facilities be it inspections, design or project management. I intend to offer my services to all, from equipment selection to grassroots facility design and construction.

L B Petroleum Consulting is a leader in petroleum facilities design. The principal Larry Bergquist has 30 years experience designing and building petroleum facilities from distribution terminals to industrial installations. Whether it is a bulk plant, service station, or diesel storage for your emergency generator, a cost effective, practical, and environmental secure system will be provided that will meet regulatory requirements. Larry is licensed with the Association of Professional Engineers of BC to practice Professional Engineering in the field of petroleum facilities

 Larry's project experience is in pipeline, distribution plant, bulk plant, cardlock, keylock, service station, aviation & marine fuelling, and industrial. He has successfully designed and built petroleum facilities both grass roots and major rebuilds at 28 bulk plants, 62 service stations, 21 cardlock/keylock, 14 airport aviation refueling, and 26 marinas. As well as having completed hundreds of minor projects and industrial installations he understands and can complete these projects as well.

80% of the estimated 8,000 contaminated sites in BC are petroleum related, however prevention is not difficult and remediation may be simple to achieve. To enlarge on Larry’s experience with environmental projects he has taken a Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Engineering. With expertise in these two significant streams he can successfully design a petroleum facility that will meet your needs large or small, new or existing.

 Larry's background isn't only professional as he started in the petroleum field as a pipe fitter/ pump mechanic, this provides a practical approach to designing, building and maintaining facilities.
