I have built or modified many stations from grass roots to: adding tanks, piping changes, pump replacement, additional islands, and canopies to name a few. There are many types of equipment to consider, for example tanks, there are single, or double wall, in ground, or above ground, steel, or fiberglass, or fiberglass covered steel, as well as concrete. Even the medium of interstitial monitoring of double wall tanks is varied from; vacuum, or brine, or a simple empty space. A tank installation is expensive and all of the above options have their good points but not all will be best for your station. I can provide an unbiased description of the strong and weak points of each system.
